Executive Office of Health & Human Services

The Executive Office of Health and Human Services is seeking a college student for summer employment for the following assignment:

Summer Intern (Medicaid) - The Rhode Island Medicaid Program is seeking a student intern to assist with outreach activities, specifically identifying opportunities for enrolling eligible uninsured children and families into the state’s RIte Care program. These will include but will not be limited to: attending outreach meetings with staff to (1) further develop specific outreach strategies and (2) prioritize which outreach strategies to pursue.  Tasks may include: assisting with the organization of the mailing of flyers to potentially eligible families, reviewing successful outreach strategies from other states, and working with other organizations to identify and enroll eligible children and families.

Intern will receive $9.00 per hour (no fringe benefits). Full-time schedule is preferred; however, a part-time schedule  may be available.
Must be a college student or matriculated for the fall of 2013.
