Governor Carcieri joins President Carriuolo at launch of STEM Center at RIC

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are strategic areas for the economic competitiveness of the state of Rhode Island. STEM education is vital for the formation of the next generation of STEM educators and other STEM professionals. The Rhode Island STEM Center holds the promise of improving STEM education through creative initiatives, cutting edge technologies, and most of all collaborations across the state.
