Barnes & Noble Scholarship
As part of its partnership with Rhode Island College, Barnes & Noble gives out Bookstore scholarships to RIC students each year to help pay for books and academic supplies.
Preference is given to students with financial need, who have at least a 2.5 GPA, are making strong progress toward earning their degree, and have exhausted other sources of financial support. There are 40 $125 scholarships available for the Fall semester and 40 $125 scholarships for the Spring semester. Any unused funds are distributed for the Summer session.
Please note that the scholarship takes the form of a Bookstore credit, so funds are not transferred to a student's account.
To find out which books are required for your courses, visit the Bookstore website or go to the Bookstore, which is located in the Lobby level of the Student Union – across from Campus Card.
