Student Travel Notice

We ask that all students inform the college of travel plans if you have or will be traveling.

International & Domestic Travel

If you have traveled (domestically or internationally) in the last 14 days, health care officials are requiring you to self-quarantine for 14 days from the time one has returned regardless of travel location. Additional guidance can be provided by the CDC or our RIC Health Services Office (401) 456-8055.

Please use this link to submit a student travel notice. Following your submission, this form will be provided to a representative within RIC Health Services for personal follow up. If you work on campus or reside in the residence halls, the Dean of Students is able to communicate to your supervisor and director of residential and housing on your behalf.

Please check with the CDC for the latest travel information.

Do you feel distressed? Do you wish to speak with someone? Please call the 24/7 Rhode Island College HOPE line: 401-456-HOPE (4673). The HOPE line is in addition to the counseling center and has been established to provide continuous support to our campus community. Please note that if you are in need of immediate support, please dial 911 and proceed to your local emergency room.

The Office of Student Life provides programs, services, and co-curricular experiences that enhance student success.  Our efforts promote an inclusive community and the development of leadership skills, critical thinking, global awareness, self-advocacy, career decision-making and job search skills.  The Office of Student Life also improves the quality of student life by addressing students’ needs and issues and works to maintain student safety.
