Sports Camps

Ages 8-16
beginning 6/22/09

Coordinated by Intercollegiate Athletics, Intramurals, and Recreation, the daily activity program will be filled with instruction, competition and fun. The mornings are filled with instruction and the afternoons are utilized in putting that instruction to positive application with a series of competitive events. In addition, the activity day is filled with swimming, films and guest speakers.

Performing Arts Camp

The Department of Music, Theatre, & Dance is sponsoring the 2009 Summer Performing Arts Camp, an acting camp that incorporates musical theatre and dance for students in grades 6-12. The camp runs from July 7– July 23, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuition is $495 (includes a $30 non-refundable fee). Application deadline is June 25 with very limited availability.

Summer Art Program

Classes meet July 13-23, Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Art Center on the Rhode Island College campus. The program provides a relaxed yet stimulating environment for students to explore their creative interests.

Young Writers' Camp

Throughout the United States, the Young Writers' Camp offer students a unique opportunity to learn about the craft of writing by participating in all aspects of the writing process. The camp runs from July 13 - July 24

Applications for the Young Writers’ Camp will be accepted through June 15.
