The Default Blackboard Template is applied to all new Blackboard courses.
This template will only contain the Home Page,
Blackboard Student Help and Blackboard Faculty Help Area
links on the Course Menu.
Currently the Blackboard Faculty Area, which is a
Content Area, is hidden from the students.
If you don't download one of the below templates
(Basic,
Hybrid/Fully Online Course,
Face-to-Face
["web-enhancing" Course]) then YOU
WILL NEED to add at least one Content Area to the
Course Menu if you are planning to provide your students
with course material such as PowerPoint and PDF files as
well as adding in assignments, URL, online tests, and
etc.

Course Material
is a Content Area link which will allow you to added
content, such as files and assignments, to the page. The
Course Email
link is linking to the Messages Tool which contains the
email within your Blackboard course.
