Blackboard is Rhode Island College Learning Management System which allows you to post course material and course activities such as tests, assignments, chats, discussions, blogs, journals, and more. Since Blackboard is web-based, you will be able to access the blackboard courses anywhere you have access to the internet.

OS/Hardware - minimum requirements

  • Pentium 4 processor
  • 1 GB of RAM
  • Ethernet Port
  • Sound card with speakers
  • T1, DSL, cable, or satellite high-speed connections

Macintosh Support

Hardware - minimum hardware requirements

  • MAC 10.5 (Leopard) or later
  • Intel Core Duo with a 2.0 GHz processor (or greater)

  • 2 GB RAM (or greater)
