By the end of this workshop, faculty will:

Prior to the workshop: Request that Blackboard be activated for your course. Allow at least two days for Information Services to process your request. Instructions can be found here: how to request a course for blackboard.
Bring: A paper and electronic copy of your syllabus and 2-3 documents (in electronic form) that you want to use in your course.

These one-hour sessions are by appointment only on Thursday, August 23rd between 1:00pm-5:00pm in Horace Mann 140. If can't make it on Thursday, but you still need help with Blackboard, please contact the Help Desk at 456-8803 to request a Blackboard support.

This virtual workshop is designed to give participants a solid foundation, enabling them to successfully deliver live, interactive Collaborate sessions. Participants will learn about the key features and core functions of the Collaborate user interface. They will learn about session roles and how to effectively manage the communication tools, understand audio indicators, manage session and participant interaction, display the whiteboard and PowerPoint content, and record a session.
