The purpose of the Employer Service Network (ESN) is to add value, reduce waste and continuously improve Rhode Island's capacity to connect people, employers, jobs, education and workforce and economic development services. The ESN is a formal affiliation of workforce and economic development entities and professionals who offer an array of services to employers. Rhode Island's Department of Labor and Training, under the auspices of netWORKri (the State's One Stop system), is spear heading the ESN.

The ESN Mission:
1. Increase employment of our job seekers
2. Provide quality recruitment and placement services to employers

The ESN Members' Agreement (PDF) was developed by a cross-section of agencies, including those representing people with disabilities and other employment barriers. The Agreement contains principles and protocols for diverse workforce development agencies to work cooperatively, increase access to job development information and enhance member communication and professional development. For one page summary review the ESN in Brief (PDF).

ESN Regional Meeting Schedule (PDF)
Four local ESN's are underway - South County, East Bay, West Bay and Greater RI in the metro region. Over 50 community based organizations (CBOs) participate in one or more of the regional ESN meetings.
