Assistive Lab Technology

Adams Library

The Assistive Technology Lab is designed to provide students with disabilities access to information with the use of adaptive devices. This lab is located across from the reserve desk in the Adams Library which is accessible during normal library hours of operations.

Hardware

  • 2 -745 Dell Optiplex Intel Core 2 duo Processor, 2.4GHz, DVD+/- RW, 80GB hard drive, and 2.0GB RAM
  • 2 Gateway 21” Widescreen High-Definition LCD Flat Panel Display
  • 1 486 DX 50MHz Dos PC equipped with adaptive assist.
  • 2 Dell Inspiron 3500 Pentium II Laptop computers.
  • 3 GB Hard Drive, 64 MB Ram.
    • These laptops are to be loaned out through Student Life for assisting Assistive Technology Students in our teaching labs: Gaige 163, 168, and Whipple 107
  • 2 Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1100 Printers
  • Juliet Brailler
  • Voyager XL VisualTex
  • 1 Hewlett Packard Scanjet 6300 CSE.
  • 1 Epson Perfection 4490 Photo
