How to Log-on to WebCT 4.1

Student:

If you are a student at RIC, your log-on is exactly the same as your Network/Email Account.

Example:

Name: John Smith
Birthday: August 22, 2003
Student ID Number: 1234567
SSN: 000-00-1234

Your username and password would be :

WebCT ID : jsmith_4567 (first initial, last name, and last four digit of your Student ID number)
Password : aug221234 (first 3 letters of the month you're born, day of birth, and last four digits of your SSN)

Faculty / Staff:

If you are a faculty or staff member at RIC, your username and password to log-on to WebCT 4.1 is exactly the same as your Network/Email Account.

WebCT ID: Is the same ID you use to log into RIConnect
Password: Is the same Password you use to for your Network/Email Account

If your RIConnect ID and Network ID are not the same, please contact webctadmin@ric.edu to have a password assigned to you. NOTE: If you are a staff member who is taking a class at RIC the faculty log-on applies to you as well.
