The Henry Barnard School is Rhode Island College's campus laboratory school and is a valuable resource for education majors. Elementary education majors participate in clinical teaching experience through in class observation and participation before beginning student teaching. Henry Barnard teachers are professors within the School of Education who serve as mentors for college students preparing for teaching careers.
