Firefox:
A relatively new browser developed to be lightweight, fast, and standards compliant. Firefox is based on the Gecko engine, which also powers modern versions of Netscape/Mozilla.

FTP:
The File Transfer Protocol. This protocol defines a method for sending and retrieving files from a remote computer across the internet.

FTP is often used to provide access to directories on a web server so that users may make files available.

Flash:
Flash is a product and format developed by Macromedia.

It allows for the creation of much more interactive content on the web than standard HTML. Flash is a better alternative for 'fancy' presentations than Java, as it is more stable and generally less demanding on the user's computer.
