The World Wide Web Consortium, a major standards-setting body made up of a number of international, corporate members.

Web Browser:
A Web Browser (more formally referred to as a User Agent, and often shorted to 'brower') is an application used to view web pages on the internet.

The most popular browser is currently Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Mozilla and Firefox are also common, particularly on non-Windows platforms.

Wiki:
A wiki is a particular type of website which allows users to edit the content of the site through their browsers. Wikis are generally used to allow collaborative editing of information either to decentralize the information, to improve it's overall quality over time, or to allow many people to offer ideas quickly and easily.
