Annie Smith Peck – RIC class of 1872 – one of 12 new RI Heritage Hall of Fame members
On Nov. 15, Annie Smith Peck, an 1872 graduate of the Rhode Island Normal School (a forerunner of RIC), was posthumously inducted into the Heritage Hall of Fame. RIC president Nancy Carriuolo accepted on Peck’s behalf.

RIC annual Art Auction set for Dec. 4
RIC’s 37th annual Art Auction will take place on Dec. 4 in Bannister Gallery. Previews start at 4 p.m., followed by the auction at 7 p.m.
Alumni and friends of the college are encouraged to donate works of art for bid at the event, which helps fund student activities.
To arrange for donations, please call the Art Department office at (401) 456-8054. Deadline for drop-offs is Wednesday, Nov. 25.

RIC opens new location of Sherlock Center on Disabilities
