Who makes the best wieners in the state of Rhode Island? Stop by the Wiener Cook-off in Donovan Dining Center to find out! Wiener sampling will take place from 12-12:45. Sampling available on a first come first served basis while supplies last. Judging will take place after the sampling.


Four international films will be shown with the hope that the viewers will be inspired to expand their horizons and consider travel and/or study abroad. Popcorn will be provided!

Stop by the Career Development Student Internship Showcase. Learn from RIC students who have worked as interns about their experiences and how internships contribute to career success. Light refreshments served.


How is multiculturalism defined and understood in Israel and in the U.S., and what are the challenges of meeting the educational needs of a diverse population in our different societies? Dr. Jack Pastor of Oranim University in Israel will offer a keynote address and will introduce a panel discussion on multicultural education in the United States. Commentary by a panel of education experts from Israeli universities Beit Berl and Oranim, as well as RIC’s Feinstein School of Education and Human Development will immediately follow the panel. Audience members will have opportunities to participate and to attend subsequent breakout “special topics” sessions where professors from the three universities will co-present on topics relevant to their fields of interest (including Multicultural Education, Informal Education, Science Education, Special Education, Early Childhood, and Holocaust Education).
