Research

My publications focus on the intersections of aesthetics and politics in 19th and 20th century Portuguese, African and Brazilian Literatures. My current research projects and publications include Portuguese-American Literature and the pedagogy and politics of ethnic studies in the US and Canada; and best practices in Portuguese language education.
