Both in the classroom and the research lab, students gain the broad-based knowledge necessary to connect and integrate various disciplines of life science.

Our students learn to use the scientific method to answer questions about the natural world; they learn to effectively communicate the rationale, methodology and evidence of scientific research; and they graduate prepared for advanced study and careers in science.

New: Biotechnology Undergraduate Program

Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program and students will gain broad knowledge across fields including: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, and the humanities.

This major is designed to provide foundational training required for work within the biotechnology industry and includes the opportunity to complete an internship with a biotechnology company.
