The RIC Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) aims to advise and support the personal and professional growth and development of our partners of the campus community. Hispanic Heritage in Rhode Island: Data & Social Policy (2021)

The event included an introduction by RI Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea. In addition, we hosted data and social policy experts for a discussion about the growth of the LatinX communities in RI. Special guests Jessica Cigna, Senior Policy Analyst with the RI Secretary of State’s Office, and Marcela Betancur, Director of the Latino Policy Institute at Roger Williams University, for a presentation and Q&A session about shifts in the diverse demographics of the RI community.
