General Resources for Search Chair
As Search Chair, you are responsible for ensuring that each search committee member:
- Reads the contents of the Affirmative Action Search Packet prior to evaluating applications or interviewing any candidates.
- Reviews this training on implicit bias here.
- Complies with the search committee responsibilities listed here.
- Considers completing the RIC Search Committee Process Feedback Form here at the end of the process
You are also required to complete this electronic Affirmative Action Monitoring Report prior to the extension of any job offers as a result of this search. Additional resources pertinent to the search process and RIC’s Affirmative Action Program can be found here.
