“RI-INBRE has been very good to me in supporting my research,” says Jamie Towle-Weicksel. “I am very thankful.”
Scholars. Practitioners. Difference-Makers.
Our faculty are exceptional scholars and leaders in their fields of expertise.
With a student-faculty ratio of 19:1, our faculty get to know each student and live for the moment when "everything clicks" - when students make a significant discovery or understand concepts that bring classroom instruction to life. Our faculty meet students where they are and empower them to achieve beyond their expectations. In the classroom or in the field, our faculty are champions of our students' success.
Our full-time and part-time faculty and professional staff are organized among the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development, the School of Business, the Zvart Onanian School of Nursing, and the School of Social Work. These units are complemented by the community-education and workforce development mission of the Office of Professional Studies and Continuing Education.
Last year, the State of Rhode Island assumed control of Providence public schools after decades of low performance. As policy decisions get underway, the expertise of Adrienne Goss has been tapped by community leaders and organizers.
