RIC Student COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

All RIC students are required to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine. In addition, all students will be required (vaccinated, partially vaccinated, or exempted) to provide documentation of a negative SCREENING COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to moving into the dorms or before your first in-person class on-campus. Students must upload their vaccination card and negative COVID test into the Medicat® Patient Portal.

Please note:  Modified start to fall 2021 semester. Classes now begin on Wednesday, September 8. 

Before you Register

All current students have a Universal Advising Hold prior to registration. You will only be able to register once you have met with your advisor. To contact your advisor, see FAQs, below.

How to Register

  • All students can register for classes using MyRIC.
  • Log in to MyRIC. Under "Enrollment" in the left column of the page, click on “Add Class.”
  • Click to view your "Class Schedule" after you have added your classes for Fall 2021.
  • For answers regarding general registration issues, call the Records Office at 456-8213.

New non-degree students

If you have never attended RIC, you will need to create an account to obtain a username, password, and appointment time in order to register for classes. View instructions here.

View your major's Academic Rhode Map or log in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu; under Student Center use the drop down to review your Academic Advisement Report.

Log in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu. Your advisor is listed under your "Student Center," click detail for more information. If you do not have an advisor, contact your major's department.

 

Check on any holds applied to your account by logging in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu. Under "Student Center," click on "Holds."

 

Bills will be sent electronically. Payment date for the Fall 2021 semester will be announced soon. For billing questions you may contact the Bursar's Office, or call the Bursar's Office at (401) 456-8130.
