Registration for Spring 2023

Register now to get the Spring 2023 classes that you need and want.

Spring Classes begin on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Before you Register

All current students have a Universal Advising Hold prior to registration. You will only be able to register once you have met with your advisor. To contact your advisor, see FAQs, below.

How to Register

  • All students can register for classes using MyRIC.
  • Log in to MyRIC. Under "Enrollment" in the left column of the page, click on “Add Class.”
  • Click to view your "Class Schedule" after you have added your classes for Spring 2023.
  • For answers regarding general registration issues, call the Records Office at 456-8213.

New non-degree students

If you have never attended Rhode Island College, you will need to create an account to obtain a username, password, and appointment time in order to register for classes.  Students applying to the college should not use this process

Create an online account to register. When you click Create Account, you will receive confirmation that your account has been created. In addition, you will be emailed instructions about your MyRIC username and password for future or return use if it is not yet your appointment time.

Registration times are assigned first to degree students, current non-degree students followed by new non-degree students. Non-degree registration for fall is in late August; for spring, early January; and early March for summer. Registration dates are listed in the course bulletin each semester.

Please note: If an existing account is found for you, you will be directed to request reactivation of your account through the Records Office at 401-456-8213 or records@ric.edu.

View your major's Academic Rhode Map or log in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu; under Student Center use the drop down to review your Academic Advisement Report.

Log in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu. Your advisor is listed under your "Student Center," click detail for more information. If you do not have an advisor, contact your major's department.

 

Check on any holds applied to your account by logging in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu. Under "Student Center," click on "Holds."

 

Bills will be sent electronically. Payment date for the Spring 2023 semester will be announced soon. For billing questions, you may contact the Bursar's Office, or call the Bursar's Office at (401) 456-8130.

 

Log in to MyRIC: http://my.ric.edu. Click on “Student Center.” On the right of the page, you will find "Enrollment Dates." Click details to obtain your registration appointment time.
