Transcripts

Request Transcripts from the Records Office

The Records Office will issue official transcripts of a student's academic record, including: courses, grades, GPA, and degree(s) upon request from the student. Students may request a transcript to be released to a third party or for self. Transcript requests are processed in the order in which they are received, and processing times may vary. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. We do not offer expedited transcript services. 

How to Request a Transcript

The easiest, fastest and most secure method of requesting your transcript is through the Transcript Ordering Center (National Student Clearinghouse). Students can request a transcript be sent digitally, by mail, or in-person pick up for a small fee. 

Please Note: For students attending prior to 1995, the digital option is not available at this time.

In-Person Transcript Pick-Up Option

• Former students may visit the Transcript Ordering Center (National Student Clearinghouse).
• Current students please go to MyRIC and navigate to the RIC Student Homepage and then the Student Center tile. When ordering for pick up please place two asterisks next to your name (Example: John Smith**). 

Please Note: Transcript orders will not be processed for students with financial holds on their records. Please email the Bursar's Office, bursar@ric.edu, to determine how your hold can be removed.
