Miranda Family Scholarship
Dear Music, Theatre and Dance students,
Rhode Island College has the distinction of offering the first-ever Miranda Family Scholarship started by the one and only Lin-Manuel and the entire Miranda family.
First-generation students from underserved communities who are pursuing a degree in music, theatre or dance may apply. Ideal students must demonstrate a commitment to the arts both as a student and a career.
Eligible student must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled full-time.
- Have earned sufficient credits to be considered a junior or senior.
- First-generation college student.
- Major in Music, Theatre or Dance.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
Scholarship award:
- $3,000 - $5,000 for up to two years.
