Foundation Scholarship Opportunities
Thanks to the generosity of our community of donors, the Rhode Island College Foundation can offer an array of scholarships to help our students pay for their education.
Our goal is to ensure that each and every student has access to an affordable, high-quality, four-year degree.
A Permanent Funding Source
These scholarships are endowed, which means they provide a source of permanent funding for student support. 78 percent of our students qualify for financial aid and approximately 40 percent graduate with no debt.

Paying for college should not break the bank. We can help. In order to qualify for one of our scholarships, RIC students must complete a FAFSA form to determine eligibility. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid to learn about additional resources to cover the costs of your education.

Business and Technology Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students in our internationally accredited School of Business.
Distinctive Scholarships
Distinctive Scholarships are available to students who qualify for financial need and meet additional criteria for eligibility.
General Scholarships
General Scholarships are available to any enrolled student who qualifies for financial need, regardless of their major.
Health Sciences Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students interested in pursing a career in health sciences, such as medical imaging, biology, long-term care administration and/or health care administration.
Humanities and Cultural Studies Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students with an interest in English, communication, creative writing, literature, modern languages, global studies and/or philosophy.
Math and Sciences Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students interested in careers in chemistry, computer science, mathematics and/or physics.
Performing and Fine Arts Scholarships
We are a regional leader in performing and fine arts education. These scholarships are available to students interested in pursing a career in music, theatre, dance and the fine arts.
Social and Behavioral Sciences Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students interested in careers in the social and behavioral sciences, such as communication and psychology.
Social Work Scholarships
These scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the field of social work.
Teacher Education Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to students with an interest in pursuing a career in any one of our outstanding programs within the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development
