Chris graduated in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in Public & Professional Communications with a minor in History. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he is a first-generation college graduate. Since his days on campus, he’s served in a variety of leadership roles across the non-profit and higher education landscapes. Among these roles were serving at executive and director levels within the Boy Scouts of America in New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He then entered into medical undergraduate program management at Brown University, where he also worked in its Office of Biomedical Advancement to inspire alumni giving and support. Today, he is the Director of Leadership and Major Gifts with the Rhode Island College Foundation, helping to implement and improve overall fundraising and engagement strategies with our most dedicated supporters.
