I completed my PhD at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth, the course work and dissertation research has greatly informed my teaching, advising and leadership in the SON.
Each year teaching at the graduate level challenges me to gain more knowledge of the most current research, practice guidelines, pharmacotherapeutics, and management of common illnesses that NPs manage in the acute care setting. Both my ANP certification, PhD preparation and continuing education support my role as faculty in the graduate program.
