Overview
Current Clinical Experience:
Elise is the Lead clinical supervisor at the North American Family Institute’s Enhanced Outpatient Services Program (NAFI EOS). She also works in Private Practice.
Previous Clinical Experiences:
Previously, Elise worked at Butler Hospital in several research departments, at intensive residential treatment facilities, as an in-home clinician, at RIC’s student counseling center, at Bradley Hospital, and in outpatient group practices.
Areas of Expertise:
Trauma and trauma-informed care; clients engaging in non-suicidal self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation and risk.
Additional Professional Experiences:
Certified MI Trainer. Certified Risking Connection Trainer at the Traumatic Stress Institute (trauma-informed care model). Co-author of peer-reviewed research articles and clinical interventionist on research studies. Elise is alum of RIC and URI.
