A Special Message from the Director...

On behalf of the entire Admissions staff, I would like to encourage you to take a closer look at Rhode Island College. As one of the region's leading comprehensive public colleges, RIC has over 150 years of tradition in providing excellence, quality and value.

You'll find a diverse and welcoming community on our suburban 180 acre campus and we're just 10 minutes from downtown Providence. The average class size is 24, remarkable for a college with 7,600 enrolled undergraduate students. You will be taught by a faculty for whom teaching comes first.

What you know can affect a very important decision you are about to make...choosing the right college. A campus visit and tour is a great place to start and you can make your tour reservation online. By the way, save Saturday, November 14th for our Annual Admissions Open House. You will have the opportunity to meet faculty from every department and tour all freshman residence halls. Our RSVP form is available online.
