Whether you're looking to begin living in the RIC dorms or need to no longer reside in them, we provide instructions here on how to proceed. 

Simple Processes to Follow

Incoming First-Year Students

Welcome to our community! Once you have paid your $200 enrollment deposit through Admissions, you can be eligible for housing on campus for the upcoming semester.

Steps to Complete in MyRIC
  1. Pay $200 enrollment deposit with admissions
  2. Pay $200 non-refundable housing deposit on MyRIC 
  3. Electronically sign housing contract on MyRIC
  4. Complete roommates questionnaire in MyRIC

Incoming Transfer Students

The office will make every effort to accommodate students transferring into the College and interested in living on campus. 

Steps to Complete in MyRIC 
  1. Return Housing Interest Card to the Admissions Office
  2. Pay $200 enrollment deposit with admissions
  3. Pay $200 non-refundable housing deposit on MyRIC
  4. Electronically sign housing contract in MyRIC
  5. Complete roommate questionnaire in My RIC

Incoming Graduate Students

On-campus housing is open to all interested graduate students who wish to stay on campus. You can sign up for graduate student housing by directly contact the Office of Residential Life and Housing at housing@ric.edu or 401-456-8240

Admission Steps 
  1. Pay $200 non-refundable housing deposit in MyRIC

Current RIC Students

On-campus housing is open to all interested students who wish to reside in residence halls. Interested students can sign up with the Office of Residential Life and Housing at housing@ric.edu or 401-456-8240.

Admission Steps  
  1. Pay $200 non-refundable housing deposit before April 15th for first round room selection

Please Note: Deposits paid after the deadline are not guaranteed housing 

Cancelling Your Housing Contract

Students can cancel their Housing and Dining Contract prior to June 15th, by doing so, you forfeit your $200 non-refundable deposit with no additional penalty.  

If the cancellation request happens after June 15th, student can submit their Residential Life & Housing/Dining Contract Appeal Cancellation Request for review.
