A Foundation in Web Development

The web development minor provides students with a foundation in web development along with insight on how the web works and how to effectively develop dynamic websites. For this reason, this minor complements both the computer science and computer information systems majors.

Students are introduced to basic concepts, issues, and techniques related to designing, developing, and deploying websites using a variety of tools. Study includes HTML, CSS, formatting, layout, and objects. The content of the course is updated to include current practice and tools for server-side programming.
