Recurring Events for Student Organizations
Battle of the Orgs
Battle of the Orgs is a competitive monthly series that will allow organizations to win funds to use for the organization. For each event your org participates in, you will earn participation points that will accumulate. If you win one of the competitions, you will receive $100 donated to your organization, and extra participation points. These points are added up at the end of the series and the organization with the most points will earn an additional $500 prize!

Organization showcases that are held at the start of Fall and Spring semesters.
Workshop Offerings
Every organization is encouraged to participate in these trainings as they are designed to help your organization be successful. Currently, we are offering the following workshops with more to come:

- Group Mission & Goal Setting
- How to Run an Effective Meeting
- Marketing an Event Effectively
- RIC Rooms Reservations
- Student Organization Orientation (for new orgs or anyone who needs a refresher)

Mini-Grants for Student Organizations
Student organizations are able to apply for additional funding for their events to enhance and elevate them. If your organization is given a grant, you will work with Student Activities to plan your event. All events must be open to the RIC student population. Inviting non-RIC affiliated parties will be accepted on a case-by-case basis as these funds are to be used for current RIC students.
