Book Your Tutoring Appointment

Book your writing, math, or specific course tutoring sessions in Adams Library, Level 1 Writing Lab Office Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am-8:00pm
Tuesday, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

The Writing Lab’s goal is to work with writers to explore and develop their ideas, to become aware of the needs of their readers, and to learn the rhetorical and syntactical strategies necessary for effective communication.

Writing Lab Services

There are three types of Writing Lab appointments:

Face-to-face Sessions

Students select a specific session time in WC Online to meet with a writing tutor in the Academic Success Center

Video Sessions

These are synchronous Zoom-like meetings with a writing tutor booked through WC Online. Student writers upload their writing and supporting materials prior to the virtual meeting.

E-tutoring Sessions

E-tutoring is asynchronous, meaning there is no direct contact with a writing tutor during the session. Student writers upload their writing and supporting materials to WC Online. Around the end of the appointment time, the student will receive comments through email.  If you do not receive feedback, please reach out to us as so we can make sure to get the tutor's comments to you.
