Ms. Alexis B. Moniz

Overview

Current Position:

Alexis currently works as a school psychologist at Deans Mill School in Stonington CT. She works with Pre-k through 5th grade students.  She is in her 10th year in the district 

Previous Positions:

Previously, Alexis worked as a school psychologist in the Chariho Regional School District for 2 school years and prior to that she worked for the Rhode Island Technical Assistance Project (RITAP). RITAP was a grant funded project that was a partnership between RIC's Sherlock Center and RIDE which focused on providing training and assistance for school employees who worked with students with disabilities.

Areas of Expertise:

Alexis is working toward become a Certified Bounce Back Clinician which is a cognitive behavioral therapy specifically designed for students K-5 who have experienced at least one traumatic event and are experiencing traumatic stress symptoms.
