Graduate Assistant FSEHD Dean's Office
1 Part-time position (10 hours a week)
Primary Purpose
The FSEHD Dean’s Office is accepting applications for a graduate assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. This person will provide support to the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development initiatives. Working closely with the Dean and Associate Dean, the Office of Partnerships and Placements (OPP), and the Director of Assessment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include but not be limited to a) conducting literature reviews, b) analyzing school data, c) supporting FSEHD events and initiatives, d) navigating school and community placements, e) and supporting undergraduate admissions.
- Collaborating with professional advisors and departments, the GA will help FSEHD
students navigate academic and administrative processes by guiding on
course registration, academic Rhode Maps, and resource referrals. - Responsibilities include meeting with students to discuss academic standing, leading study groups, offering career development support, and assisting with retention efforts for at-risk students.
- The GA will support FSEHD initiatives and Anthology, a digital platform for creating
electronic portfolios, managing assessments, tracking fieldwork for educator Working
closely with the Dean and Associate Dean and the Director of Assessment,
responsibilities will include but not be limited to a) conducting literature reviews, b)

Qualifications
- Organized and have exceptional time management skills.
- Have experience working on teams and strong interpersonal skills.
- Have experience working with data sets.
- Experience in educational or community settings is desired.
- Education, School Psychology, or Community Based majors preferred.
