Hope Scholarship

The Hope Scholarship at Rhode Island College provides eligible RI students with a four-year degree, two years tuition-free. No scholarship application is required — we’ll automatically review your academic records before your junior year at RIC. Get a high-quality bachelor’s degree for less than $25,000.

Foundation Scholarships

Thanks to donor generosity, we offer scholarships to both incoming and current students. Many are alumni-funded, merit- or need-based, with some reserved for children and grandchildren of RIC alumni. Submit a single application, and our scholarship tool will automatically match you to every scholarship for which you qualify.

Major Program Scholarships

Many academic departments offer scholarships to students excelling in their majors, and merit-based aid is also available for students planning to study abroad.
