Graduate Assistant Music Outreach Coordinator
1 Part-time Position (10 Hours a week)
Primary Purpose
The Music Outreach Coordinator will build meaningful partnerships with local K-12 schools and community organizations by providing music instruction to children ranging from early childhood through high school. The position is open to a variety of music backgrounds, though experience with at least one instrument is desired (band, guitar, strings, piano).
Duties and Responsibilities
The Coordinator will plan and teach lessons, as well as co-teach with and supervise undergraduate Music students. Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship from experienced faculty will be provided. This is a full-time Graduate Assistant position for 20-hours a week. Travel is required for the community partners in RI.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with confidence
- Strong communication skills for connecting with children, undergraduate students, school administrators, and community partners
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
