Our half-day GenCyber events for high school students usually follow this sequence. Our campus map should assist you in finding the specified locations.

Typical Schedule

Our events run form 8:30 am–12:30 pm.

8:30 am: Arrive at Roberts Hall

  • bus will park in designated lot
  • restrooms available
  • CSIS Department representatives will meet group

9 am: Campus Tour

  • hosted by RIC Admissions
  • tour will end at Craig-Lee open area, facing the quad
  • CSIS Department representatives will meet group

10 am: Data Visualization/CS/IT Activity

  • hosted by Dr. Murat Aydogdu, Dr. Lisa Bain, and students
  • held in the Craig-Lee building

11 am: CSIS Programs/IT Careers

  • host TBD
  • held in the Craig-Lee building

11:30 am: Lunch at Donovan Dining Center

  • provided by RI STEAM Center and the CSIS Department  

12:30 pm: Depart

  • walk to parked bus
