In 2025 Our Donors...
- provided students scholarships, opportunities, and basic necessities
- ensured access to state-of-the-art facilities
- supported research and professional development
"Our primary focus is to provide scholarships for students to come here, leave with less debt and have a bigger springboard to be successful in their chosen careers. Our beneficiaries make this possible and we are extremely grateful to them. RIC donors make a substantial impact."
-Eric Shoen, Executive Director of the Rhode Island College Foundation
And their impact is long-lasting. Thank You to Our 2025 Donors!
"If no one is there to give you a start or an opportunity to pursue your interests, what happens? Likely nothing will come to fruition. With this scholarship, I'm happy that I'll get to see the good that comes from helping students in need get started." (on the establishment of the John J. Smith Jr. '63 and Anna Veronica (Keefe) Smith '33 Endowed Scholarship)
This fellowship is designed to strengthen the Department of Biology and attract more students.
With a $6,000 Shinn Study Abroad Scholarship, Enrique Garcia only paid $300 out of pocket to live and study in Japan.
Through two new scholarships a new generation of RIC students will benefit from the late Kate Cross-Das, an alumna who possessed many creative gifts.
We're here and ready to help our new donors, while continuing to appreciate the kindness and generosity of those who have given and wonderfully impacted our students and our institution.
We are committed stewards who unite students and alumni, faculty and staff, friends and community partners to champion Rhode Island College's future through meaningful service, contributions, and active engagement.
