RIC Alumnus, Lifelong Educator, and Rhode Island College Foundation Board Member Creates Scholarship

Improving Academic Programs
Rhode Island College Impact
This fellowship is designed to strengthen the Department of Biology and attract more students.
With a $6,000 Shinn Study Abroad Scholarship, Enrique Garcia only paid $300 out of pocket to live and study in Japan.
Through two new scholarships a new generation of RIC students will benefit from the late Kate Cross-Das, an alumna who possessed many creative gifts.
