Wondering How You'll Fit In?

Not to worry! There are so many opportunities and ways to participate and stay engaged at RIC.

Student Organizations

Very happy student at the Student Activities Day

From Gaming to Information Security, Pride Alliance to Hip Hop Dance - we say that there's a club for everyone at RIC. And somehow, if you don't find what you're looking for, we're here to help you start a new club of your own.

Greek Life

If you're wondering whether you should participate in Greek Life, it's important to understand what you'll get out of it. Leadership, scholarship, service, and friendship for life are some of the many benefits of joining a Greek organization.

Student Community Government

Student Community Government (SCG) is the voice of RIC students - effecting change wherever and whenever the student body calls for it. SCG also recognizes and funds student organizations, allowing for engaging campus events year-round.

So Much to do Outside the Classroom

Campus Events

We want you to have as many opportunities to meet other students as possible. We offer events of all kinds throughout the academic year, with so many scheduled for the start of the year – when forming new friendships is key. Welcome Weeks, outdoor movies, karaoke, and Homecoming Alumni & Family Weekend are just some of our fall activities.

Leadership Development, Service, and Volunteering

Many of these programs start even before classes, allowing you to develop new skills, make campus improvements, and give to others all while making new friends.

Athletics

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and a charter member of the Little East Conference, RIC Athletics is growing in participation, popularity and success every year.
