I am a first-generation student with a commitment to supporting individuals from underserved backgrounds. I hope to serve the Latinx population, especially those who have left their home to create a new life here. As an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, I have experienced some of the many hurdles that individuals face. This has made me an advocate for social and economic justice. I aspire to empower my community by providing culturally competent care.
