Commonly Asked Questions

Homecoming registration is now live! You can register for each event that you're interested in attending by visiting Homecoming Events and Registration.

Event pricing varies depending on the activity. While many events are free to attend, others require a registration fee. This year, all guests planning to attend the Homecoming Family Festival must register in advance due to enhanced security measures. Please refer to individual events for pricing details.

Yes. All attendees, including current Rhode Island College students, parents, family members, and guests, must register for all Homecoming events. For more details, please visit Homecoming Events and Registration.

Yes! Your Homecoming day adventure starts at check-in. To help keep our campus safe and welcoming for all, everyone must check in upon arrival. Visit one of our check-in stations in the Family Festival area near Alumni Stadium, grab your event bracelet, and you're ready to enjoy the weekend!

Homecoming will take place rain or shine. While some outdoor activities may be relocated, modified, or canceled due to severe weather, we'll communicate any schedule changes as quickly as possible on our social media channels. Make sure to follow us!

Yes, your family is welcome and encouraged to join most of our events at Homecoming! Please note that some events have an age restriction.

Parking is free, and no parking pass is required. Parking is available in Lot B, including ADA-accessible spaces. View our campus map and click on "Menu," where you can select the "Parking Lots" checkbox to see all lot locations.

Yes! Complimentary shuttles will loop throughout campus during the day for your convenience, with stops near:

  • The Family Festival
  • Tennis Complex
  • Alex and Ani Center

Parking is available in a variety of public and private lots surrounding the stadium. For parking options, passes, and maps, please visit Parking & Transportation | RIFC.

We have several dining options available throughout Homecoming Weekend. Family Festival registration includes access to our lineup of four food trucks. Current RIC students enjoy complimentary food from the participating food trucks, while guests may dine for $5 per person. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stand inside Alumni Stadium, and Donovan Dining Center will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the weekend.

Restrooms are conveniently located throughout campus, including in the Clarke Science Building, Alger Hall, and Donovan Dining Center.

Campus tours will be available and will be given by student volunteers. We also encourage you to wander around RIC’s beautiful campus. Most buildings should be open. View our campus map.
