Join us for a special evening as we showcase Fibonacci, a vibrant new mural by Richard Whitten, Professor of Art at Rhode Island College. Completed in summer 2025, this dynamic work was brought to life with the collaboration of four recent Art Department alumni: Emaly Akkaoui ’25, Brenna Meehen ’25, Marissa North ’25, and Tainalys Ortiz ’25.

Commissioned by the President’s Advisory Committee on Public Art, the mural reflects a shared commitment to creativity, mentorship, and public expression, with support from the Rhode Island College Alumni & Foundation.
