The Rhode Island College Wind Ensemble and Joseph Foley Music Director presents "The American Experience", an evening of inspiring works for the Wind Band.
The program will include Andrew Boysen’s “Revolutionary (Music for Concord 1775), Frank Ticheli’s “Four Shaker Songs”, Thomas Vignieri’s “An American Hymn”, and Charles Ives “Variations on America”. In addition the ensemble will perform Andrew Balfour’s "Vision Chant" and James Barnes “Trail of Tears” (in honor of Native American Heritage Month Month)
