Seeing Double: A Poetry Reading by Gary Whitehead

Award-winning poet and RIC alum Gary Whitehead will be giving a poetry reading from his fifth collection, Seeing Double (Terrapin Books, 2026), with a brief Q&A to follow. Gary's work has been published widely, including in Poetry Daily, the Writer's Almanac, and the New Yorker. Originally from Pawtucket, he recently retired from a long-career teaching high school English in New Jersey.
