What We Do

Grant Accounting provides post award administration of projects and programs funded from sources outside the College.

Throughout the life of the award, Grant Accounting staff provides assistance to faculty and staff in managing sponsored awards which includes grants and contracts

Primary Responsibilities

  • providing guidance to assure proper stewardship of funds received
  • working closely with faculty and staff to ensure financial compliance and proper accounting of externally sponsored funds

Financial Management Specifics

Grant Accounting’s financial management responsibilities include:

  • cash management
  • financial reporting
  • award closeout.

Please Note: Non-financial post-award changes, such as no-cost extensions, re-budgeting and award transfers, are managed by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).​​​
