Counseling Services and Health Services now function under the Center for Health and Wellness.
Monkeypox is a rare, but potentially serious viral illness which belongs to the orthopoxvirus family. Infection typically begins with flu-like symptoms and swelling of the lymph nodes and progresses to a rash on the face and body. There is currently a global and national outbreak of monkeypox.

Do you feel distressed? Do you wish to speak with someone? Students in distress can call 401-456-4673 to confidentially speak with licensed clinician. This service is available to students 24 hours a day/7 days a week and is in addition to the Counseling Center. Please note that if you are in need of immediate support, please dial 911 and proceed to your local emergency room.
