The majors offered through the Department of Political Science open doors to careers and graduate study in the administration of governmental and nonprofit organizations, journalism, law, opinion research, public policy making, urban and community planning and many other fields. In addition to our academic course offerings, we provide opportunities for you to expand your skills and experience outside of the classroom. Semester-long internships are available in public affairs, state and local government and other areas.
