Political Science Majors Open Doors
The majors offered through the Department of Political Science open doors to careers and graduate study in:
- the administration of governmental and nonprofit organizations
- journalism
- law
- opinion research
- public policy making
- urban and community planning
- many other fields
In addition to our academic course offerings, we provide opportunities for you to expand your skills and experience outside of the classroom. Semester-long internships are available in public affairs, state and local government and other areas.
